Content Creator for Brands
A content creator who is also a trained photographer and videographer. I plan, shoot and deliver reels, UGC, YouTube videos and photography for brands, the same craft behind a 3.3M-view campaign reel and 1.4M profile views on @yks_photoworks.

What you get when you hire a content creator
A content creator for brands is part strategist, part photographer, part videographer, and the skill is knowing which hat the moment needs. I come with 8 years in content, video and photography and a kit built for it: Sony A7 IV, Sony 28mm, 50mm and 85mm primes, a DJI RS3 gimbal and a DJI wireless mic. That means footage that looks cinematic but is still made for phones.
02
Reels & short-form video
Reels for Instagram, TikTok and YouTube Shorts, planned in batches around hooks and formats. Product reveals, behind-the-scenes, founder stories, tutorials, before-and-after, location tours. Each reel is shot with the vertical frame in mind from the start, not cropped from a horizontal video later.
03
UGC content for brands
Native-feeling, talking-to-camera content that works in organic feeds and as ad creative. I script the hook and key points, shoot with real people from your business or cast talent, and keep it natural while making sure the sound and light are clean enough to run as paid ads.
04
YouTube video production
Longer-form YouTube videos for brands and founders: explainers, interviews, behind-the-scenes series, property walkthroughs and event recaps. I plan the episode structure, shoot with multiple angles where useful and capture clean audio, then deliver footage organised for publishing alongside thumbnails and Shorts cut from the same shoot.
05
Photography in the same shoot
Because I’m a photographer first, every content day can also produce stills: product shots, lifestyle images and portraits for the feed, website and ads. One crew, one day, a month of content.
06
UGC vs polished content: when to use which
Polished content builds brand: hero videos, product photography, website imagery. UGC-style content builds trust and often performs strongly in ads because it looks native to the feed. Most brands need both, in different proportions. Restaurants and fashion lean polished-plus-reels; D2C and apps lean UGC-heavy; B2B leans founder talking-heads.
07
Planning a content day
A content day is planned around a shot list grouped by location and lighting, with hooks written in advance. A typical day might cover a set of reels, a block of UGC clips, product stills and a few portraits. I wrote about the process in how to plan a content shoot day.
08
YouTube for brands
YouTube works best as a series: a format you can repeat, such as weekly tips, property tours or customer stories. Planning a series lets us shoot several episodes in one session, which keeps it sustainable. Each long video also produces several Shorts and reels.

Common questions
Are you a content creator or a videographer?
Both. I create content for my own audience and shoot professionally for brands, so I understand both the platform and the craft.
Do you edit the videos?
I focus on shooting and delivering content that’s planned to be easy to assemble. For heavily edited, long-form post-production, I recommend pairing with a dedicated editor.
Do you appear on camera?
Usually not. The content is about your brand, people and products. UGC can feature your team, customers or cast talent.
Can I use the content in ads?
Yes. Usage for your organic and paid channels is agreed in the quote.
Do you shoot with drones?
No. I don’t fly drones. If aerials are essential, a licensed drone operator can be brought in separately.
