Video Production & Videographer
Brand films, commercial video and corporate video from a film-trained videographer. I’ve shot for Marriott, Vaseline (Unilever) and Cindrebay School of Design, and worked on the sets of the Malayalam films Soothravakyam and Baby Girl. That cinema discipline goes into every brand video.
Recent work
01
A videographer with a film-set background
Working on feature film sets teaches you things that are hard to learn elsewhere: how light shapes a mood, how to block a scene so it can be cut later, how to work fast without looking rushed. I bring that to brand and commercial work. The aim is video that looks considered, from the first frame to the last.
02
Brand films & commercial video
A brand film tells the story behind a business: why it exists, who it serves and what makes it different. Commercial video is more direct: a product, an offer, a launch. I plan both from the message backwards, write a shot list, scout locations, and shoot on a Sony A7 IV with 28mm, 50mm and 85mm primes for a consistent cinematic look. Moving shots are stabilised on a DJI RS3 gimbal and dialogue is captured on DJI wireless mics.
03
Corporate video
Company profiles, leadership messages, recruitment videos, training content, testimonials and office or factory walkthroughs. Corporate video has to look professional without feeling stiff. I work as a one-person crew, so people relax on camera, and plan interviews so they produce clear, usable answers. For local detail see corporate video in Dubai and Bangalore.
04
Event, hospitality & real estate video
Event highlights and conference coverage, hotel and restaurant films, and property walkthroughs. Real estate video is a specialty: see real estate videographer in Dubai. I don’t fly drones, so aerial shots are arranged with a licensed operator if a project needs them.
05
How delivery works
Footage is shot and delivered in the formats you need: horizontal masters for web and YouTube, vertical versions for reels, and stills pulled from the same shoot. Post-production scope is agreed upfront. I focus on getting it right in camera.
06
Choosing the right type of video
Brand film: when people need to understand and trust who you are. Commercial: when you need action on a product or offer. Corporate video: for recruiting, investors, partners or internal communication. Reels and social cuts: for reach and frequency. One shoot can often cover more than one of these if planned together.
07
Why working solo often wins
I work alone. A one-person crew moves faster, fits into real spaces like offices, kitchens, apartments and hotel rooms, and keeps non-actors relaxed. Complex productions with actors, sets and lighting rigs need more hands; for those, extra freelancers can be hired for that project, and I’ll tell you upfront if your brief needs them.
08
Pre-production is where quality is decided
Most video problems are planning problems: unclear message, wrong location, no time for the hero shot. I put real time into pre-production (script or interview questions, a shot list, location checks, timing for light) so the shoot day is calm and efficient.
