Privacy and personalisation

I’m Yedukrishna Suresh, and this is my site. It adapts to you a little, the way a good shop remembers what you were looking at, but it does that on your own device and you can wipe it in one tap.

What the site remembers, and where

To show you the right work and the right next step, the site keeps a small note in your browser’s own storage (localStorage). It stays on your device, with the one exception noted below.

  • What you looked at: which pages you opened, roughly how long you stayed and how far you scrolled, and what you typed into the site search.
  • Your device and visit: phone, tablet or desktop, whether your connection is slow or in data-saver mode, the time of day on your device, whether you have been here before, and how you arrived (for example from Instagram, Google, LinkedIn or a WhatsApp link).
  • Your region: your device’s timezone and language settings, so visitors in India see my India number and visitors in the UAE and the Gulf see my UAE number. No IP lookup, no GPS.
  • How you first found the site (for example Google or Instagram), kept for 90 days. This is the one item that can leave your device: when you send an enquiry or a WhatsApp message, a short “Found via” line is added so I know which channel works. You can see it before you press send on WhatsApp.
  • Form details you typed before: your name, phone and email from an enquiry form, so you don’t have to type them again. Only on this device.

What it changes

  • “Picked for you” and “You may also like” suggestions, and a “Recently viewed” list.
  • The quick contact button: tap-to-WhatsApp on a phone, the 60-second quote form on a computer.
  • One “Before you go” note at most per visit, which you can close.
  • On a slow connection, video waits until you tap it.

What it never does

  • It never uses your microphone or camera.
  • No fingerprinting, no tracking you across other sites, no ad trackers.
  • No fake countdowns, fake “only 2 left” messages or made-up reviews. The brands named on the site are brands I have actually worked with.
  • Search engines and visitors without JavaScript see the same published page as everyone else.

Anonymous visit counting

So I know which pages and which buttons are actually useful, the site counts visits with my own small counter (/js/stats.js, running on Cloudflare). It uses no cookies and keeps nothing on your device, and it can’t tell who you are.

  • What it counts: the page opened, the website that linked you here (just its name, such as instagram.com), any campaign tag in the link, your country and city as Cloudflare estimates them, phone, tablet or computer, browser and system, a rough screen size, your language, whether your timezone is India, UAE or elsewhere, how long the page was open and how far you scrolled.
  • Which buttons were used: WhatsApp, call or email taps, opening the chat and sending a message in it, a site search, the ad simulator, the “Before you go” note, and whether an enquiry or talent application was sent. It records that it happened, never what you typed: no search terms, chat messages or form contents.
  • What it never keeps: your IP address, a cookie or any ID that follows you around. To avoid counting one visitor twice in a day, it uses a scrambled code built from a random value that is deleted at the end of each day, so visits can’t be linked from one day to the next, or back to you.
  • Counts are kept for up to 400 days and only I can see them.

“Turn it off” below also stops this counting on this device.

If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, personalisation and visit counting stay off. If you have asked for reduced motion, the site’s pop-ups appear without animation.

Personalisation needs JavaScript, so with it switched off nothing is stored.

What you choose to send me

  • Enquiry forms go to my own Google account (via Google Apps Script) so I can reply. The page you sent it from comes with it.
  • WhatsApp and phone are your own app; I only see what you send.
  • The chat assistant sends what you type to my server so it can answer.
  • YKS Talents applications are covered by their own terms on the application page.
  • Visit statistics: anonymous visit counting (see above), plus Google Analytics on most pages.
