The fastest way in
Describe the shoot. Get a casting plan back.
Not a form. Tell me what you're making — in a sentence, the way you'd say it out loud — and you'll get back how many faces it usually takes, the looks worth putting in front of you, and what's worth sorting first. You don't have to tell me who you are to read it.
Free. No sign-up, no email gate. Takes about ten seconds.
Why book a face through me
A good face is only half of it. The picture has to land.
Most casting desks hand you a name and step back. What happens on the day — whether the light flatters her, whether the frame sells the product, whether the cut holds on a phone — is somebody else's problem. Here it's the same problem, and the same desk.
On my own work, not a client's. Casting advice is worth what the person giving it can prove about attention.
Which is the only number that matters for a brand. Reach that depends on an existing audience doesn't transfer to yours.
Casting, direction, shoot and grade. Nothing gets lost in a handover because there isn't one.

A look at the edit
The full roster isn't published. Faces are put forward against a brief — so nobody's pictures and measurements sit on the open internet being scraped, and nobody gets approached behind my back. What's below is a look at the range. Send a brief and you'll see everyone who actually fits it.
New faces join the edit every week. Nothing here is the whole roster — send a brief to see everyone who fits yours.

How booking works
How do I book a model in India or Dubai?
Send the brief, get a shortlist inside 24 hours, approve the face, and the release is signed before anyone arrives on set. Five steps, one desk, one invoice covering the talent and the shoot together. You never negotiate with the talent directly and there's no separate booking commission.
-
01
The brief2 minutes
The look you're after, the city, the dates, and what the pictures are for. A line or two is genuinely enough — if you're not sure what you need, the casting plan above works it out with you first.
-
02
The shortlistwithin 24 hours
Three to six faces that fit the brief, with the work that proves it. If nothing on the roster is right I'll say so and source beyond it rather than sell you the nearest thing.
-
03
Options and holdsyou decide
You pick. I check real availability against your dates and hold the date. Nothing is confirmed to the talent until you've said yes to a face and a number.
-
04
Paperwork, before the daysigned in advance
Model release and usage terms agreed in writing before anyone shows up — territory, term and where the images may run. This is the step most shoots skip and then regret two years later when the campaign wants a renewal.

05
The shootsame desk
I direct and shoot it, or hand a fully-briefed talent to your crew if you already have a photographer. Either way the person who cast the face is the person answering the phone on the day.
The difference
Do I need a model agency for this?
For a campaign with a name face and a seven-figure media spend behind it, yes — go to an agency. For the shoot most brands actually need this quarter, an agency adds a booking commission, a second set of dates to align and a third party between you and the person holding the camera. Here's the honest comparison.
Through an agency
- Agency commission on top of the talent fee, typically 20–25%
- Talent booked separately from the crew — two contracts, two schedules
- Casting desk doesn't see the pictures until you do
- Usage negotiated per campaign, often after the shoot
- Minimum booking sizes that don't suit a one-day content shoot
Through this desk
- One all-in number covering the talent and the shoot together
- One contract, one schedule, one person accountable for the day
- The person casting the face is the person lighting it
- Usage agreed in writing before the shoot, not after
- Works at one face for a day, or a full campaign line-up
I'm not a model agency and don't pretend to be one. I'm a photographer and director who casts as part of production — which is why there's no commission line on your invoice. More on how casting runs in India →
Before you commit
What if the face doesn't work out?
It's the question everybody has and nobody asks, because asking it out loud sounds like distrust. So here it is answered in advance, in writing, before you've spent anything.
Nothing is booked off a single photo. You get a shortlist with real work behind each face, and you approve the final selection.
Once you confirm, the talent's date is held and confirmed back to you. No verbal holds that evaporate the week of the shoot.
People get ill and flights get cancelled. That's my problem to solve, not yours to absorb — the shoot date stands and I put a replacement in front of you.
Talent contact details are never shared, so nobody gets approached around you mid-campaign, and nobody renegotiates on set.
Territory, term and channels are on the quote. No surprise renewal invoice eighteen months later.
Talent, casting and production quoted as one number. If something isn't included, it says so on the quote.
Usage & rights
What am I actually buying when I book a model?
You're not buying the photographs. You're buying permission to use someone's face, for a defined purpose, in defined places, for a defined length of time. Get that wrong and you either overpay for rights you'll never use, or run a campaign you don't have permission for. It's the part of a quote worth reading twice.
Term
How long you can run the images. Six months and twelve months are the usual marks for social and digital; campaign work is often two years. Perpetual costs more because the talent can never re-license that look to anyone else.
Territory
Where they can run. India-only is the common default. Adding the Gulf, or going worldwide, changes the number — which is why the same face costs differently for a Bangalore D2C launch and a Dubai retail campaign.
Channels
Organic social is the cheapest. Paid social and performance ads cost more because the images work harder. Out-of-home, print and packaging cost the most, because the face becomes the brand for the duration.
Exclusivity
Whether the talent can shoot a competitor during your term. Most shoots don't need it. If yours does, it has to be bought — and it should be on the quote, not assumed.
All four go on the quote before the shoot, in plain English. If you're comparing quotes from elsewhere and one of them is cheaper, this is usually where the difference is hiding.
Booking models & talent — the questions I get
How casting works through YKS, in India and the UAE. If yours isn't here, ask it in the brief and I'll answer it straight.
How do I book a model in Dubai or India?
Send the brief — the look you're after, the city, the dates and what it's for. I come back inside 24 hours with a shortlist from the roster and one all-in number covering the talent and the shoot. You book through me, not through the talent directly.
What does booking a model cost in India?
It's quoted per project rather than per hour, because the number depends on usage — how long you need the images, where they run, and whether it's editorial, commercial or campaign. A one-day content shoot and a two-year national campaign can use the same face and cost very differently. Tell me the brief and you get one figure covering talent and shoot together.
Why is the roster not fully public?
Because publishing a page of photographs, measurements and cities is how those images end up scraped, reposted and used to catfish. Talent on the edit are put forward against a brief instead. You lose nothing — you still see the faces, the work and the range before you commit — and they keep control of where their pictures live.
Do you work as a model agency?
No. I'm a photographer and director who casts and coordinates talent as part of production. That means no agency commission on top of the talent fee, one contract instead of two, and the person who cast the face is the person lighting it on the day.
How fast can you get me a face?
Shortlist inside 24 hours of the brief. For a straightforward one-face content shoot in a city I cast in regularly, a confirmed booking in two to three working days is normal. Same-week shoots are possible; tell me the date up front and I'll say honestly whether it's realistic.
Can you cast for a shoot you're not photographing?
Yes. Casting and coordination can be booked on their own if you already have a photographer or a crew. You get the same shortlist, holds and paperwork, and I hand over a fully briefed talent on the day.
Which cities can you cast in?
Across India — Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Chandigarh, Kochi and Goa — and across the UAE, mainly Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Talent travel for the right project, with travel built into the quote rather than added afterwards.
Do you handle model releases and usage rights?
Yes, and before the shoot rather than after. The release and the usage terms — territory, term and channels — are agreed in writing before anyone arrives on set, so you know exactly where and how long you can run the images, and there's no renewal surprise later.
What if the model doesn't turn up, or doesn't work out?
Dates are held in writing once you confirm, and if someone drops out I recast and the shoot date stands. You approve the final face before anything is booked, so nobody is cast off a single photograph.
Can you find a specific look — expat, Indian, international?
Usually. Tell me what the campaign needs and I'll come back with options, or source beyond the current roster if nothing on it fits. I'd rather say "not on the edit, give me two days" than sell you the nearest available face.
Do you cast for regional-language and film work?
Yes — actors for branded films, TVCs and narrative work, across South Indian languages and Hindi. Tell me the language and the register in the brief; it changes the shortlist more than the look does.
I'm a model — how do I join, and does it cost anything?
It's free, and it always will be. Use the apply page — send your photos, your city and what you're available for, and the site will build you a professional comp card PDF at the end that's yours to keep whether or not you join. You'll never be asked for a joining fee, a portfolio fee or a test-shoot fee. Anyone in this industry who asks you for one is not worth your time.
Will my name or number show up on the internet if I join?
No. Names and contact details are never published — not on the page, not in the page source, not in the schema a search engine reads. Clients see a roster code and your work, and every enquiry comes through me. That's the entire promise of the roster and the site build refuses to publish if a name ever leaks into it.

For models, actors & creators
Applying? Build a comp card clients shortlist from.
If you’re putting yourself forward, a phone gallery isn’t what a client sees you through — a comp card is. Upload your shots and the site lays out a real one: graded, print-ready, with your stats and a clean digitals page, in the format castings actually ask for. It costs nothing and it’s yours to keep. It doesn’t put you on the board — the application does that, and the board is a curated shortlist, not an open sign-up.
Your comp card, built for you
- Six cohesive looks. One grade across every photo — the difference between a portfolio and a camera roll.
- Editorial layouts. Comp card, lookbook or full book. Pick one, or hit surprise me.
- Paste your stats, I'll sort them. Copy the measurements from any old card or message and they land in the right fields. Nobody types eight boxes by hand.
- A digitals page. Natural, unretouched, the way casting directors actually want to see you.
- A booking QR. Anyone who sees your card can reach a booking — through me, never around you.
No fee. No card. You download the PDF at the end whether you join the roster or not.
What I promise you
This industry has earned your suspicion. So these are stated plainly rather than buried:
- You will never be charged a fee. Not to join, not for the portfolio, not for a "test shoot", not ever. If anyone asks you for money to be represented, walk away — from them and from me.
- Your name and contact never go public. Not on this site, not in the page source, not in a search result. Clients see a roster code and your work. They reach you through me.
- You hear from me when there's a paid job. Not a newsletter. Not a check-in. A brief, a date and a number.
- No exclusivity, ever. Take the comp card to any agency, any casting, any other photographer. It's yours. Being on the roster costs you nothing and locks you into nothing.
What happens after you send it
I read every application myself. You get a yes or a no — not silence.
You go on the edit under a roster code. Your pictures, your range, no name attached.
I put you forward, tell you the job, the date and the fee, and you say yes or no. Nothing is booked over your head.
The Edit closes at Volume 01 when it's full and reopens as Volume 02. Applying early is worth more than applying polished — send what you have.
