Models in Pune
Commercial and fashion casting in Pune — a curated roster of working talent, and the brands that book it.
Pune's brand work skews toward automotive, manufacturing and education, and it absorbs a steady amount of overflow from Mumbai when a production wants the same faces at a lower cost of shooting.
For talent in Pune
A working roster, in Pune
Being within reach of Mumbai is an advantage worth stating plainly — talent who can travel for a Mumbai call at short notice see far more of the market.
This open board is casting women only — men are cast by referral for specific briefs, not from the form. It is built for women who are over 18, camera-ready and serious about commercial work — a shortlist brands are cast from, not a course and not a way to get discovered. YKS is not a photography or portfolio-building service, so being on it is not a paid shoot for you; a booking is paid work for a real client, and the schedule and the payment run through me. There is no fee at any stage. Applications are read from the form only — not WhatsApp, calls or DMs — and it is a curated list, so not everyone is added. If your pictures aren’t working for casting I will tell you why. Nobody honest promises work; what I can promise is that briefs from Pune go in front of the right faces. Send a brief, get a shortlist
Pune is a practical base when a shoot needs Mumbai-standard casting without Mumbai location costs, particularly for automotive and lifestyle work.
Dates, the look and how you intend to use the images — that is the whole brief. Back comes a shortlist built against it and one all-in number, rather than a directory to sift through. Contact details are never shared in either direction. How a casting runs →
Where we cast around Pune
Talent based in and around Pune — including Pimpri-Chinchwad, Hinjewadi, Kharadi, Baner — are all within the same casting radius. Anywhere else in India, apply anyway: the roster is pan-India and travel is arranged as part of a booking.
Questions, answered straight
How do I join the casting roster in Pune?
This volume is casting women only, and applications are read from the form only — not WhatsApp, calls or DMs. Send your details and a few clear, unedited photographs taken on a phone in daylight; that is enough to assess. It is a selective, curated list brands are cast from, so not every application is added. There is no fee at any stage, and a booking is paid work. Men are cast by referral for specific briefs, not the form.
Does YKS charge Pune models a joining or portfolio fee?
No. There is no joining fee, no registration fee, no portfolio package and no compulsory shoot. Anyone in India asking a model to pay to be represented is running a different kind of business, and it is the clearest warning sign there is.
Can brands book a model in Pune directly?
No, and that is deliberate. Talent contact details are never published and are never passed on. A brand sends a brief, receives a shortlist, and the booking is arranged through YKS Productions — which is what keeps talent safe and the shoot organised.
I am not from Pune — can I still apply?
Yes. The roster is open to talent anywhere in India, not only Pune or the cities listed. Where you are based matters for local jobs, but a brief that fits you can come from anywhere, and travel is arranged as part of the booking.
Is this a photoshoot package, or a way to get discovered?
Neither. YKS is not a photography or portfolio-building service, and being on the roster is not a paid shoot for you — it is a shortlist that brands cast from. What is required is being over 18, camera-ready, reachable and reliable on a shoot day. If your pictures are not working for casting, I will tell you why.
What does it cost to cast a model in Pune?
It depends on the shoot — the number of days, the usage you need and how many people you are casting. Send the brief and you get one all-in number back covering the talent and the arrangement, so there is nothing to reconcile afterwards.
