Abu Dhabi’s video needs are shaped by its strengths: resorts on Saadiyat and Yas, a growing cultural district, corporate headquarters on Al Maryah Island, and new residential communities. I’ve shot hospitality content for Marriott and bring that experience to Abu Dhabi hotels, restaurants and attractions, along with corporate and property work.

What I shoot in Abu Dhabi
Hotel and resort films: rooms, dining, spa and experience reels. Corporate video for ADGM and Al Maryah Island firms. Real estate: walkthroughs and lifestyle films for Al Reem, Saadiyat, Yas and Al Raha. Events: launches and conferences. Social content: reels and short-form series.

Light and logistics
UAE light is harsh for much of the day, so exteriors are planned for early morning and golden hour, with interiors in between. Many locations need permissions; I factor that into scheduling with your team.

Hospitality video with a Marriott background
Hotel content has to sell an experience: the light in the room in the morning, the view from the pool, the pace of dinner. My hospitality work for Marriott taught me to plan these moments around the property’s schedule and guest privacy. For Abu Dhabi resorts I plan sunrise and sunset sequences, quiet-hour interiors and short-form cut-downs for social and ads.

I’m a marketing specialist with 8 years in content, video and photography, and the founder of YKS Productions. I’ve created for brands including Vaseline (Unilever), Marriott, KL Rahul and Cindrebay School of Design, and worked as still photographer on the Malayalam films Soothravakyam and Baby Girl. One campaign reel I made reached 3.3M views, and my Instagram @yks_photoworks has passed 1.4M profile views.
