Corporate & Brand Video in Bangalore

Your company is better than your company video. Let’s fix the gap. Brand films, promos, product videos and testimonials — shot like cinema, not a slideshow. I'm Yedukrishna Suresh, founder of YKS Productions — film-trained director, making corporate video for Bangalore's startups, companies and founders who want to look as good as they actually are.

Made to look the part

A film background, real brand work, and a one-creative pipeline.

Most corporate video in Bangalore looks like corporate video — flat lighting, a stiff interview, a stock track, and a logo at the end. It ticks a box, but nobody watches it twice. A company that's genuinely good — and Bangalore is full of them — deserves a film that looks like it.

My background is in cinematography and feature film, so I shoot a brand the way I'd shoot a scene: real light, motivated movement, clean sound, and an edit with a pulse. Whether it's a brand film, a product launch, a founder's story or a wall of testimonials, it comes back looking like something you'd be proud to put at the top of your homepage or your pitch deck.

03

Which film does the job

“We need a video” is five different products. Picking the wrong one is the most expensive mistake in corporate video, and it happens before anyone picks up a camera.

The five films companies in Bangalore actually commission, and what each is for.
FilmWhat it is forRoughly how longWhere it earns its keep
Customer testimonialSomeone who is not you saying the thing you want believed60–120 secondsSales calls and landing pages. The highest return per rupee in B2B
Product demoShowing the thing working, clearly, without a salesperson present90 seconds to 3 minutesYour product page, and the follow-up email after a demo call
Founder / brand filmWhy the company exists, told by the person who started it2–3 minutesFundraising, the about page, hiring, and press
Culture & recruitmentWhat it is actually like to work there90 secondsCareers page and hiring campaigns. Reduces the cost of every hire
Event filmA conference, a launch, an offsite, compressed into something watchable60–90 secondsSocial, and next year’s ticket sales

If you are unsure, the honest recommendation is almost always the testimonial. It is the cheapest of the five, the fastest to make, and the only one where the persuasive work is done by somebody other than you. Brand films are more satisfying to commission and are usually the second thing a company should buy, not the first.

04

If you are a startup

A large share of the video work in this city is for software companies, and the pattern repeats often enough to be worth naming. A team raises a round, decides it needs a brand film, spends most of the budget on three minutes of drone-free sweeping shots and a founder talking about mission — and then has nothing to send a prospect who asked what the product does.

The sequence that works better is unglamorous. Start with two or three customer testimonials, because they shorten sales cycles immediately and cost the least. Add a product demo, because your website is answering that question badly in text right now. Then, once you know which story lands, make the founder film — by which point you will make a much better one, because you will have heard your own customers describe you.

The other thing worth knowing: shoot them together. Testimonials from three customers in one day, or a demo and a founder piece back to back, cost far less than the same films made separately, because the setup and the crew are paid once. If you know you will want all of it within a year, plan it as one production and release it across twelve months.

05

The cinematic edge

Here's the difference: most corporate video is made by operators who shoot to document. I come from feature film — I shoot to make people feel something. That training, plus brand films across India and the UAE, is why a YKS corporate film holds attention instead of being skipped. One creative runs concept, camera and edit, so the film is coherent — not a committee of compromises.

06

Filming across Bangalore

On location wherever your business lives.

Tech parks and offices across Whitefield, Manyata, Electronic City and the Outer Ring Road corridor, startup HQs in Koramangala, HSR Layout and Indiranagar, plus studios, retail and events anywhere in the city — I shoot across Bangalore and bring the light and sound to make any location look intentional.

07

How it works

Step 01

Brief

We agree the goal, the audience and where the film will live. I come back with a concept and an all-in quote.

Step 02

Pre-pro

Shot list, locations, talent and schedule locked — so the shoot day runs to plan, not to luck.

Step 03

Shoot

A focused shoot with proper light and sound — the difference between "fine" and "premium" is made here.

Step 04

Edit

Hero film plus social cut-downs in 5–7 days, graded and mixed — ready for the homepage, the pitch and the feed.

08

What moves the number

Quoted as one all-in figure covering the shoot and the edit. If you want the market context first, there is a full breakdown in the corporate video cost guide.

Days

Shoot days

The clearest lever, and the one worth planning around — several films shot in one day is the single largest saving available.

Edit

Edit days

The invisible half of a video budget, and the half that decides whether the result looks expensive or merely finished.

People

Crew and talent

Your own team on camera costs nothing and is usually more convincing. Professional talent and voiceover are their own line.

Cuts

Deliverables

One film, or one film plus vertical and square cutdowns with subtitles. Decide before the shoot — it changes how scenes are framed.

09

Corporate video questions

What kind of corporate video should we make first?

For most companies, a customer testimonial. It is the cheapest of the options, the quickest to produce, and the only one where the persuading is done by somebody other than you — which is precisely why it works on a sales call. Founder and brand films are usually better as the second purchase, not the first.

Do you shoot at our office in Bangalore?

Yes, and it is usually the right choice. Your own space costs nothing to book, needs no permissions, and looks like the company rather than like a studio. I bring lighting and sound, so an ordinary meeting room becomes a usable set.

How many videos can we shoot in one day?

Three or four testimonials comfortably, or a product demo and a founder piece together. Setup and crew are the fixed costs and they are paid once per day rather than once per film, so batching is the largest saving available to most companies.

What does a corporate video cost in Bangalore?

It depends on shoot days, edit days, crew and the deliverable list rather than on a rate card. I quote one all-in project figure covering the shoot and the edit, agreed before anything starts. The cost guide on this site breaks down what sits inside a typical quote if you want the market context first.

Do you write the script, or do we?

Either. For testimonials there is deliberately no script — a scripted customer sounds like an advertisement and stops being believable — so instead I prepare questions and edit the answers. For demos and brand films, scripting is part of the job unless you already have someone who writes well internally.

Our team is nervous on camera. Is that a problem?

It is the normal starting point, including for founders who present confidently in every other setting. The fix is being interviewed properly rather than being asked to perform: questions that give someone something real to answer, and enough takes that the fourth one sounds like a person talking. That is a directing job and it is most of what the day is.

How long does the whole process take?

For a straightforward film, usually one to two weeks from shoot to final cut, with the shoot booked a week or two ahead. Scripting, talent or heavier motion graphics extend that. Rush turnarounds are possible and quoted as such.

What deliverables do we get?

The main film plus whatever cutdowns you need — vertical for social, square, subtitled versions, and shorter teasers. The list gets written into the quote before the shoot rather than discussed after the edit, because knowing you need a vertical cut changes how a scene is framed.

Do you work outside Bangalore?

Yes — across India, and in the UAE, since I work between Bangalore and Dubai. Travel is quoted inside the same all-in number rather than added afterwards, and a multi-city shoot is often cheaper planned as one production than as separate local bookings.
